
The aim of this module is to investigate the agri-food supply chain and how current trends, regulations, and drivers are relevant for food safety and customer satisfaction. This will include an introductory study of contemporary organisations and their supply chain issues. The module explores the types of purposes of organisations, their stakeholders, partnerships and changing environments together with their key managerial processes – entrepreneurship, organizational structure, leading, strategic planning and current national and international changes.
The focus of the module throughout is on helping students achieve a critical and reflective approach, and learning to apply relevant concepts, tools and models.
